About Your Jewellery

FEEDBACK and COMMENTS:
- I make all grace + decay jewellery in Vancouver, BC, on the unceded homelands of the Coast Salish peoples.
- Because each piece is unique and handmade, there will be variation between pieces.
- grace + decay embraces the imperfection that comes with handmade work and with the use of recycled and found materials.
- You will have noticed that nails are rusty and pointy. Wear them with care. They can cause harm to people, animals and objects.
- By wearing grace + decay jewellery, you expressly and voluntarily assume the risk of death or other personal injury sustained while wearing the jewellery whether or not it is caused by the negligence or other fault of grace + decay. In no event shall grace + decay be liable for any damage to property or life whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use of misuse of products. [That sounds scary, but I had to include it. Testimonial from me: I have worn nails of many different sizes for years and have not once injured myself or damaged any of my clothing.]
SHIPPING AND HANDLING:
- All shipments will be sent via Canada Post at the expense of the customer.
- Orders take approximately 1 week to ship, but this can vary.
- Rush orders are available by special request. Please email [email protected] to make arrangements.
- Customer is responsible for any duty/taxes incurred for shipments to countries other than Canada.
EXCHANGES:
- If you are not happy with your jewellery, please email [email protected] within two weeks of receipt to arrange an exchange. Custom orders cannot be exchanged.
- Returned items must be undamaged.
- grace + decay reserves the right to refuse items that are returned without prior arrangement or are in unacceptable condition.
REPAIRS:
- If repairs are needed, please email [email protected] to make arrangements.
- Please provide a detailed description of the jewellery's condition, and a picture which clearly shows where repair is needed.
- Before repair work is begun, an estimate for the repair will be provided to you. Customers will be charged for the materials and labour needed to fix jewellery.
- Shipping and insurance charges for repairs are the responsibility of the customer.
RETURN/EXCHANGE/REPAIR SHIPPING:
- All shipping, tracking and insurance charges for returns, exchanges and repairs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Jewellery must be packaged so that no damage is incurred during shipping.
- grace + decay is not responsible for damages or loss incurred in return shipping.
- We retain the right to refuse returns, exchanges or repairs.
