Jewellery designed and handmade by Carmel Boerner (she/her/hers) in Penticton, BC,  on the lands of the Syilx Okanagan nation.

Mostly I make one-of-a kind art jewellery pieces for submission to exhibits. As an eternal student and lover of a deadline, I am inspired by exhibition calls and thrive on conducting research and exploring new materials and techniques, creating a piece around a concept. My work has been exhibited in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. 

I am a graduate of Vancouver Community College's Jewellery Art
and Design Program.  I've worked for 30 years in local government and non-profits ​in Canada and the U.S.   I hold a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and an MBA in Arts Administration, both from the University of British Columbia.​​​
